MachiningCloud was built on a simple premise: the data CNC shops need to run their jobs well already exists — in manufacturer catalogs, inside CAM libraries, and in the institutional knowledge of experienced programmers. Our job is to make that data accessible, structured, and actionable, from the moment a programmer selects a tool to the moment the machine starts cutting.
What began as an internal project at DP Technology, one of the industry’s leading CAM developers, has grown into an independent, manufacturer-neutral platform trusted by shops of every size — from single-machine job shops to some of the largest manufacturers in the world. We spun off as our own company in 2020 with a clear mandate: build the system that every CNC shop deserves, regardless of which tools they use or which CAM software they program in.
At its core, however, MachiningCloud is a team of amazing people dedicated to a common purpose. This passionate group gets together every day with a shared vision to fundamentally change the world of manufacturing, making it more streamlined, efficient, and intelligent for everyone involved.
