To import MachiningCloud tools into Mastercam 2024 or 2025, you can use either the “GTC Light” export button or the “Mastercam” export button, depending on your preferred format.

GTC Light Button:

• Exports a smaller GTC package.
• To import, go to the Mill Tool Manager context menu and select Import/Export Tools > Import Tool Data From > Generic Tool Catalog (GTC).

Mastercam Button:

• Exports a MachiningCloud-native format package.
• Install the importer for either:
  • Mastercam 2024 (link below)
  • Mastercam 2025 (link below)
• To import, go to the Mill Tool Manager context menu and select Import/Export Tools > Import Tool Data From > MachiningCloud.
